The practice of VCL has a strong emphasis on the structuring of private equity transactions and the legal implementation thereof, with Central Europe and South East Europe and Turkey as the focus geographies. Since 1997, the team has been establishing private equity and funds and structuring deals in this region. In Romania, Van Campen Liem has been involved in various real estate projects for a Warburg Pincus backed fund, Romanian Real Estate Partners, as well as the Bucharest based funds Balkan Accession Fund, the Emerging Europe Accession Fund, Romanian Equity Partners Coop and structuring deals in Romania for Advent International, Turkven, DBG II and Arx Equity III.
